In the afternoon, see the little church of Germigny, rare example of Carolingian art, one of the oldest in France (9th century), then St-Benoit-sur-Loire basilica, one of the most famous Romanesque building in France and the castle of Sully-sur-Loire, imposing feudal fortress.
Classified as a historical monument, the castle will take you back seven centuries in time and allow you to explore the history of France and its illustrious figures who visited it: Joan of Arc, the Duke of Sully, Louis XIV, Voltaire…
